The weapons collection dates from the sixteenth century to the present day, and includes many exhibits considered to be of national interest.

The collection is not only historical but is up-to-date. There are weapons from around the globe which are relevant and used for appropriate training by our Armed Forces.

Service personnel, collectors, researchers, and enthusiasts visit, and since most weapons are still serviceable, various media organisations seek assistance for films, programmes and publications.

Visiting groups are also welcome, including school parties and youth organisations.
